This is the first in a series of technical FAQ's on some of CCL's top products. It would be far too easy in life if everything was plain-sailing, so we have decided to highlight and answer the most common inquiries we receive on a daily basis.


Our first product highlight is Ginlong Solis Inverters. Ginlong Solis, established in 2005, is one of the oldest and largest manufacturers of PV string inverters. Yellow LED flashing on the display, what do I do?


Press ENTER on the inverter to open the MENU


Scroll DOWN to advanced information and press ENTER


Type in the code 0010 (DOWN, DOWN, UP and ENTER)


Press ENTER on alarm message and read the alarm message



How do I set up my WiFi datalogging stick?



On your smart device:


REMOVE all WiFi networks it is currently connected to


CONNECT to the WiFi network: SSID AP_xxxx (where xxxx is the serial number of the datalogger)


It will warn you there is no internet because it doesn’t have internet yet


OPEN any browser (Safari, Chrome etc) on the smart device


In the access bar TYPE in the IP address of the datalogger (10.10.100.254)


You will be prompted with a username and password


TYPE in “admin” (without quotes) for both username and password


RUN through the wizard: select the WiFi network with an internet connection, click next until it says OK; then it will say close this page manually and it will restart


CLOSE the browser


How do I move my datalogger box from one WiFi network to another?



Remove the black antenna to break the connection then the AP will re-appear


The language setting is in Chinese, how do I change it to English?



Press ENTER to open the MENU

Scroll DOWN TWICE and press ENTER


Select English and press ENTER

Notice for Use


The inverter has been constructed according to the applicable safety and technical guidelines. Use the inverter in installations that meet the following specification ONLY:


  • 1. Permanent installation is required
  • 2. The electrical installation must meet all the applicable regulations and standards
  • 3. The inverter must be installed according to the instructions stated in this manual
  • 4. The inverter must be installed according to the correct technical specifications
  • 5. To start up the inverter, the Grid Supply Main Switch (AC) must be switched on, before the solar panel's DC isolator shall be switched on. To stop the inverter, the Grid Supply Main Switch (AC) must be switched off before the solar panel's DC isolator shall be switched off

It is paramount that all safety standards in relation to installation and maintenance are followed. The manual, delivered with the inverter, contains important instructions and outlines the standards to be adhered to. Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.
